About the Shire

The introductory text on this page should not be the same text from the About Murray page on www.murray.wa.gov.au.  Instead, it must succintly sum up everything that is amazing about Murray and convince a potential visitor that they should come here. It should stress the beautiful waterways & national parks, and the huge amount of outdoor activities available.  Ideally it should be no longer than 2 paragraphs, and include contextual links to key areas of the site like the examples above.

It should not use meaningless jargon or be boring (visitors probably aren't interested in population growth or the housing market).  Try to write like a human, and write in a way that will resonate with, and excite people who are trying to decide whether they should visit the region.Try to use third party comments & testimonials to establish credibility.  Don't use stock photos.
