Waste Management
The Shire of Murray is committed to minimising waste and provides the following range of waste management services to our residents during the year:
- Refuse collection service (green bin) (weekly)
- Recycling service (yellow lidded bin) (fortnightly)
- Green waste verge collection (two per annum)
- Junk and whitegoods/metal verge collection (two per annum)
- Two general waste tip vouchers, two green waste only vouchers and one tyre waste voucher providing free disposal at the Corio Road and Dwellingup Waste Transfer Stations.
Transpacific Cleanaway is the Shire of Murray's contractor for the provision of waste and recycling collections within the municipality.
As part of this contract Cleanaway provides ratepayers with a call centre where all missed bins, damaged, stolen and new bins can be reported.
