Though not directly responsible, the Shire of Murray is committed to promoting the protection and care of native fauna.
A number of wildlife carers are locally based and can deliver fauna rescue services. For further details, please contact the Ranger Services for further information.
The most common issues reported within the Shire relate to the following species:
- Bobtails and Blue Tongue Lizards
Living with Possums
Snakes
Swooping Magpies
Western Grey Kangaroo
