Murray residents will ring in the festive season on the right note, at the 2017 Murray Community Christmas Celebration at Cantwell Park, Pinjarra on Wednesday 6 December.
This popular, free community event offers three and a half hours of family fun and entertainment and runs from 5:00pm to 8:30pm.
The crowd favourite carols segment will kick off the evening and pave the way into the Elf with no Name children’s show.
Dinner is sorted, with an array of offerings from an impressive line-up of food trucks.
Children will delight when Santa and his helpers make their special appearance at 6:00pm, and there will be free face painting and children’s activities.
Attendees can then settle into their picnic spots to enjoy the 2017 feature act the Christmas Wishes, a three-piece vocal group specialising in upbeat Christmas tunes, who will draw the event to a harmonious close.
According to Shire President Cr. David Bolt, Christmas isn’t only a season, it’s a feeling, and one that the Shire invites all to enjoy.
“Murray’s annual Christmas Celebration offers entertainment for all ages and is a highlight on the Shire’s event calendar.
“Residents are encouraged to bring their picnic rugs or chairs and head to the 2017 Murray Community Christmas Celebration.
The 2017 event is proudly supported by Alcoa, Bendigo Bank and the Shire of Murray.
